Higher Education Employee Engagement Insights Report

Strengthify set out to better understand how engaged higher education employees are in the UK and provide relevant and fair comparisons to other sectors.

Between August and October 2023 we collected data from over 700 UK full-time employees (with just over 11% working within higher education) on attitudes and perceptions related to how well individuals feel their own skills are being utilised, as well as how well their teams and managers are performing, and what areas they feel require improvement.

Our Insights Report provides a unique lens on the challenges being faced by employees and managers alike and highlights specific challenges and opportunities for higher education organisations. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative responses, we have looked to pinpoint themes and commonalities and align these to applicable models.
