One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career — including nearly 25 years working with the UK public sector, and higher education in particular — has been driving positive, lasting change for individuals, teams, and organisations. Earlier in my journey, I founded and led a successful business providing online payment systems to universities across the UK, which deepened my appreciation of the challenges and opportunities within this sector. Today, through Strengthify, I focus on a different kind of transformation: empowering people and cultures from within — with results that extend far beyond the organisation, reaching the communities and customers they serve. Over a decade ago, I discovered Gallup and the CliftonStrengths® assessment. Their scientific, evidence-based approach to personal development struck a chord with me and ultimately led me to become a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. That moment was a turning point — not just in how I worked, but in what I wanted to achieve. I saw the profound potential of a strengths-based approach to improve how individuals understand themselves, how managers support their teams, and how organisations create the conditions for people to thrive. Strengthify is the culmination of that mission — and a reflection of two of my core strengths: a relentless drive to help people reach their full potential, and a deep commitment to learning, growth and progress. We work with forward-thinking organisations across the UK to create more inclusive, engaged and resilient workplaces. By blending positive psychology with real-world application, we help leaders and teams tackle their most pressing challenges — from low engagement and burnout to poor collaboration and cultural misalignment. In today’s climate of constant change, budget pressure and rising expectations, investing in people is more vital than ever. Whether through strengths discovery workshops, management development programmes or ongoing support for managers, Strengthify helps our clients build confident, capable leaders, stronger teams, and more productive, people-centred cultures.
